Kathmandu, Feb 26: Nepali Communist Party (NCP) coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the party will not forge an equation (alliance) with any political parties in the election to the House of Representatives (HoR).
At a press meet organised at the party central office, Parisdanda today, Dahal said the party will be contesting the election with its specific agenda. The voting under the HoR is taking place on March 5.
As he said, the party has not struck any electoral alliance except in Baglung constituency-1. As he said, the party will be testing the voters’ trust on the party in remaining 164 constituencies without any electoral alliance.
He said the party will move head as per the citizens’ aspirations by seeking corrections from the past weaknesses.
He expressed his hope that the election will find way out to the existing crisis, adding that it is the shared responsibility of political parties, security bodies, bureaucracy and mass to conduct the election successfully.
