Nepalese Ambassador Oli presents his Letter of Credence to Chinese President Xi

Kathmandu, Dec. 12: Ambassador of Nepal to the People’s Republic of China Krishna Prasad Oli presented his letter of credence to Chinese President Xi Jinping today.

According to the Nepalese Embassy in Beijing, Ambassador Oli presented his letter of Credence to the Chinese President Xi amid a special ceremony organized at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Thursday.

President Xi congratulated and extended best wishes for his successful tenure in China.

“The ceremony was held collectively for 29 incoming Ambassdors in Beijing today,” issuing a press release the embassy said adding, “Welcoming the Ambassadors, His Excellency Xi Jiping congratulated the and extended best wishes for their successful tenure in China.”

Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hong Lei, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director General of the Department of Protocal and other senior officials of the government of the People’s Republic of China were present on the occasion.
