National Goalkeeper Anjana Rana Magar joins APF, Leaves Army after nine years

Kathmandu, April 7: Nepali national women’s football team goalkeeper Anjana Rana Magar has officially joined the Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club, ending her long spell with Tribhuvan Army Football Club.

23-year-old goalkepper made the switch ahead of the upcoming season after spending nine years with the Army side. APF signed Anjana to reinforce their squad following the departure of their first-choice goalkeeper, who is currently playing professional football in Greece.

In recent matches, Sabitri Kishan had been manning the posts for APF, but with Anjana’s arrival, the club is expected to see a significant boost in goalkeeping strength.

Anjana, known for her agility and composure under pressure, brings with her years of experience at both national and international levels, making her a valuable addition to APF’s lineup.
