National Assembly Vice Chair Bhandari gives up party responsibility

Kathmandu, April 8: The newly elected Vice Chairperson of the National Assembly, Lila Kumari Bhandari, has stated that she has detached herself from the party political responsibilities she had previously undertaken, with a commitment to work with impartiality and neutrality.

Vice Chair Bhandari stated this through a statement she issued today.
Elected from CPN (UML), Bhandari was a central member of the party. She was unanimously elected as the Vice Chairperson of the National Assembly, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, on April 6.
