Kathmandu, August 28: In the AFC Women’s Champions League qualifiers, Nepal’s Nepal APF Club will face Thailand’s College of Scholars today. The match will kick off at 6:15 PM (Nepal time) at the Markazi Stadium.
APF, who lost 3–0 to hosts PFC Nasaf in their opening game, will be aiming for their first victory to keep their hopes of qualification alive. On the other hand, Scholars will look to strengthen their chances of advancing by defeating APF. The Thai side made a strong start to their campaign, defeating Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr 2–0 in their first match.
In Group ‘B’, Nepal currently sits at the bottom of the table with no points from one match. Nasaf and Scholars lead the group with three points each, while Al Nassr also remain winless and are placed third.
