Kathmandu, Aug 20: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reiterated that Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani, located east of the Mahakali River, are integral parts of Nepal.
Issuing a press note on Wednesday night, the ministry said Nepal’s official map, incorporated in the Constitution, clearly marks the territories as belonging to Nepal.
The ministry stated that both India and China have been informed of Nepal’s position, while urging India not to carry out activities such as road construction, expansion or cross-border trade in the disputed area.
It added that Nepal remains committed to resolving the border dispute through diplomatic channels.
