IPL Back On! Matches to resume this Saturday

Agency: The Indian Premier League (IPL), which was suspended due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, is set to resume this Saturday. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a statement confirming that the remaining matches will commence from Saturday onwards.

The tournament had been put on hold for a week amid the diplomatic tensions. As per the revised schedule, the first match after the break will take place on May 17, featuring Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders in Bengaluru.

The remaining league-stage matches will be hosted across six cities: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. The venues for the playoff matches will be announced at a later date.

The first Qualifier is scheduled for May 29, followed by the Eliminator on May 30. The second Qualifier will be played on June 1, with the grand Final set for June 3.
