Indian Power Minister offers worship at Muktinath

Mustang, April 23: India’s Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar offered worship at the Muktinath Temple here this morning. Together with him, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, also paid homage to the God Muktinath.

Chief District Officer of Mustang, Bishnu Prasad Bhusal said that Ambassador of India to Nepal Naveen Srivastava and a 16-member team have arrived in Mustang along with the energy ministers of both the countries.

Priest at Muktinath Temple, Krishna Prasad Subedi presented ‘tika’ and ‘prasad’ to the team members.

Earlier, the team was welcomed by Chief District Officer Bhusal, chiefs of security agencies and people’s representatives.
