Home Minister Aryal guarantees a peaceful election

Janaki (Banke), March 1: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal has announced that all security measures for the upcoming election to the House of Representatives members are finalized.

Arriving in Nepalgunj today to assess the necessary security protocols for the March 5 election, Minister Aryal emphasized the government’s dedication to safeguarding the people’s right to vote in a secure environment.

During a press conference in Nepalgunj, Banke, he reiterated that the government will spare no effort to ensure the election is held in a clean, peaceful, and secure atmosphere, encouraging citizens to cast their votes with confidence.

Following discussions with district chief officials, Home Minister Aryal remarked, ‘I have come here to comprehend the election security landscape and arrangements, along with the strategy, in Banke district, which is satisfactory.’

Warning of potential disruptions to the elections, Home Minister Aryal stated, “It is not the political parties but certain groups that are active in this regard. We have managed to control such groups and will persist in doing so. Those who violate the law and hinder democratic processes, such as voting rights, will face legal consequences.”

Accompanying Home Minister Aryal are Home Secretary Raj Kumar Shrestha, Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki, Inspector General of Armed Police Force Raju Aryal, and other senior security personnel.
