Kathmandu, Dec 20: The Ministry of Health and Population will take action against those doctors who are not present in their duty station during office time.
Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel has directed the officials concerned to take action against those disobedient doctors, saying complaints have been received at the ‘Hello Swasthya 1115’, the complaints hearing unit of the ministry, that doctors were not present in the office time.
He has also instructed the related officials to make arrangements for making the electronic attendance system mandatory.
The Health Minister has been regularly following up on complaints received at the Hello Swasthya and drawing attention of the officials concerned towards that.
The Quality Control Division at the Ministry has sent letters to all the subordinate offices requiring them to make arrangements so that the doctors and health workers deliver service remaining at their work place during office time.
