Kathmandu, March 28: The government has announced to implement Delivery-Based Governance to ensure a result-oriented, effective, measurable and accountable work execution of the entire governance to bring about positive changes to the public lives.
The Delivery-Based Governance was passed from the cabinet meeting held on Friday.
Likewise, the Delivery-Based Governance stated that a ‘National Commitment’ will be prepared by synthesizing the implementable issues included in the election manifestos and commitment papers of all political parties taking part in the House of Representatives (HoR) election conducted on March 5.
For the implementation of the delivery-based governance, each ministry will prepare the action plan to execute 10 major jobs within a week along with the deadline, a responsible officer and the major work performance indicator.
Similarly, a taskforce called the Constitution Amendment Debate Paper will be prepared within seven days to build national consensus on the constitution amendment.
