Kathmandu, March 30: The government has decided to recommend to the President to convene a session of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, Chaitra 19, at 2:00 PM.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, said the decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting held earlier today.
According to Pokharel, the Cabinet has also decided to form a task force to prepare a discussion paper on constitutional amendments. The task force will be led by the political advisor to Prime Minister Balendra Shah and will include representatives from political parties represented in Parliament.
“The amendment discussion paper will be prepared through national consensus,” Minister Pokharel said.
