Kathmandu, Dec 3；Gansu Broadcasting Group signed an agreement with Nepalese sinologist Dr. Sarbottam Shrestha for Nepali dubbing of the documentary “The Grottoes Corridor of China”.
According to the Information Office of People’s Government of Gansu Province, Shrestha was also appointed as the group’s international communication advisor.
“I am honored to be appointed as an International communication advisor,” Dr. Shrestha said adding, “I hope to help more Nepali people learn about Dunhuang and Gansu and make Chinese Culture more accessible to Nepal.”
Next year marks the 70th anniversary of China-Nepal diplomatic relations. Broadcasting Gansu documentaries in Nepali is expected to promote cultural exchange, present an authentic image of China, and strengthen friendship between the two nations.
