Kathmandu, Sept 28: The Ministry of Home Affairs Promotion Committee has recommended four Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of Nepal Police for promotion to Additional Inspector General (AIG).
A meeting of the committee held on Sunday proposed the promotion of DIGs Sushil Singh Rathaur, Umaprasad Chaturvedi, Himalaya Kumar Shrestha, and Dambar Bahadur Bk from the Civil Police Group.
According to Committee Member-Secretary and Inspector General of Police Chandra Kuber Khapung, the recommendation was made under Sub-rule (4) of Rule 27 of the Police Regulations, 2014 (as amended).
