Kathmandu, Oct 15: The Kathmandu District Court has ordered former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara to be remanded in judicial custody pending further investigation.
The order was issued on Wednesday by a bench led by Judge Harka Bahadur Kshetri. Mahara was arrested earlier in connection with the gold smuggling case linked to the VIP lounge at Tribhuvan International Airport.
