Former Chief of Madhes Province Jha held

Kathmandu, July 20: The Nepal Police arrested the former Chief of Madhes Province, Rajesh Jha, on Sunday.

Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of District Police Range, Kathmandu, Apil Raj Bohara said Jha was nabbed from Kathmandu on the charge of a rape case.

“An arrest warrant was issued by the court against Jha on the charge of rape. Our team arrested him from Kathmandu today,” SP Bohara said.

Likewise, the Nepal Police has taken five days from the Kathmandu District Court to investigate against former Province Chief Jha, Bohara confirmed.
