Kathmandu, Oct 2: Karnali Yashvis defeated Lalitpur Queens in the match held today under the Everest Women’s Volleyball League.
In the match played at the National Sports Council covered hall in Tripureshwar, Karnali defeated Lalitpur by 3-0 in straight sets. Karnali won the first set against Lalitpur by 25-22 points, the second by 25-22 points and the third by 29-27 points.
This is the third straight win for Karnali in the tournament. Earlier, Karnali had defeated Madhes United by 3-1 sets and Gandaki Thunders by 3-2 sets.
Karnali has so far collected eight points while Lalitpur has six points from three games.
A total of six franchise-based teams are participating in the tournament being held for the first time in Nepali volleyball history. The organiser is Infinity Dreams Pvt. Ltd.
