Kathmandu, April, 7: Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal Zhang Maoming paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Ambassador Maoming conveyed congratulatory messages from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the occasion of Minister Khanal assuming office.
The two sides discussed ways to further strengthen Nepal–China relations and enhance cooperation in areas of mutual benefit, according to the Ministry.
On Monday, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava had also paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Khanal.
