Kathmandu, Sept 14: China has extended its congratulations to Sushila Karki on her appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal’s interim government. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson conveyed the message on Sunday.
In the statement, China reaffirmed its respect for Nepal’s right to independently choose its development path. “We are ready to work with Nepal to promote the principles of Panchsheel, enhance exchanges and cooperation across sectors, and further strengthen bilateral relations,” the statement said.
China also highlighted the long-standing and enduring friendship between the two countries, expressing confidence that future cooperation would continue to grow stronger.
