Bayern, Liverpool, and PSG Victorious in the Champions League

Agency, September 18: Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) all registered important wins in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

At the Allianz Arena, Bayern defeated Chelsea 3-1. The hosts took the lead in the 20th minute when Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah scored an own goal. Harry Kane doubled the advantage from the penalty spot in the 27th minute before Cole Palmer quickly pulled one back for Chelsea. Kane, however, struck again in the 63rd minute to secure a brace and restore Bayern’s two-goal cushion. With no further goals scored, Bayern sealed a convincing 3-1 victory.

Meanwhile at Anfield, Liverpool edged past Atlético Madrid 3-2 in a thrilling contest. Goals from Andrew Robertson, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil van Dijk ensured the Reds’ triumph, while Marcos Llorente scored twice for Atlético to keep the visitors in contention until the end.

In Paris, PSG cruised to a dominant 4-0 win over Atalanta at the Parc des Princes. Goals came from Marquinhos, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes, and Gonçalo Ramos, each adding their name to the scoresheet in a well-rounded team performance.

With these results, Bayern, Liverpool, and PSG each earned three points to strengthen their campaigns in the group stage.
