Barcelona secures thrilling comeback victory over Celta Vigo in La Liga

Agency, April 20: FC Barcelona staged a dramatic comeback to claim a 4–3 victory against Celta Vigo in a captivating La Liga fixture held on Saturday night.

Playing on home turf, the Catalan giants were propelled by an impressive performance from Raphinha, who netted twice, while Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo each contributed a goal. Despite a hat-trick from Celta Vigo striker Borja Iglesias, the visitors were unable to maintain their advantage.

Barcelona seized an early lead in the 12th minute through a composed finish by Torres. However, Celta responded swiftly, with Borja leveling the score in the 15th minute. The second half saw Celta intensify their attack, as Borja struck again in the 52nd minute to make it 2–1 and completed his hat-trick in the 62nd minute, extending the lead to 3–1.

Barcelona responded with urgency. Just two minutes later, Olmo reduced the deficit to 3–2, and in the 68th minute, Raphinha equalized with his first goal of the match. The decisive moment arrived in the eighth minute of injury time, when Raphinha struck again, securing all three points for Barcelona.

With this victory, Barcelona climbed to the top of the league table with 73 points from 32 matches. Meanwhile, Celta Vigo remains in eighth place, accumulating 43 points from an equal number of fixtures.
