Arsenal stunned by Bournemouth in 2–1 home defeat

Agency, April 11: Arsenal FC suffered a shocking defeat in the English Premier League, going down 2–1 to AFC Bournemouth at home on Saturday evening.

The match, played at Emirates Stadium, saw Bournemouth take an early lead through Junior Kroupi in the 17th minute. Arsenal responded in the 35th minute when Viktor Gyökeres found the net to bring the hosts level at 1–1.

However, Bournemouth regained the advantage in the 74th minute as Alex Scott scored what proved to be the winning goal. Despite late efforts, Arsenal failed to find an equalizer, sealing a disappointing home loss.

With this defeat, Arsenal missed a crucial opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table. They remain in first place with 70 points from 32 matches. Meanwhile, Bournemouth climb to ninth position with 45 points from the same number of games.
