Kathmandu, Sept 22: Newly appointed Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Dr Madan Prasad Pariyar assumed his office today. While assuming office at the ministry in Singh Durbar, he proposed to form a coordination committee to implement the agreement made earlier for research in potato and rice crops between Nepal and Korea.
It has been shared that the committee will be formed under the leadership of the Secretary at the Ministry to carry out the coordination work.
After assuming the office, talking to the journalists, Minister Pariyar expressed his commitment to make different efforts in the agricultural sector.
He stated that the government is committed to working on administrative reform and preventing mismanagement.
Minister Pariyar expressed his commitment to contributing fully to fulfill the current government’s mandate to achieve administrative reforms, end mismanagement, and conduct elections.
