Formation of incumbent govt spreads positive message: President Deuba

Kavrepalanchok, Sept 21: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that a positive message has imparted among the people after the formation of the incumbent government.

In his address to a ceremony to unveil the life-size statue of the popular leader BP Koirala erected at Dhulikhel in Kavrepalanchok today, President Deuba argued that the formation of the government in collaboration between the two big parties – NC and CPN (UML) has established a positive narrative in development and economic prosperity.

Addressing the gathering of the party cadres on the occasion, President Deuba urged the leaders and cadres to be effortful to make the party the largest one n the upcoming general elections. Former Prime Minister Deuba urged the party leaders to work in a way to win the heart of people.
Also speaking on the occasion, former general secretary of the party Dr Shashanka Koirala opined to follow the path shown by BP Koirala rather chanting his name and fame.

NC central members Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Shiva Humangain, Madhu Prasad Acharya among others had also addressed the event.
