Patan (Lalitpur), Sept 18: Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Poudel has said that effective health services could be provided to citizens by improving health insurance.
Speaking at a programme organized by the Ganeshman Singh Memorial Hospital and Research Centre in Mahalakshmisthan today on the occasion of the 27th Ganeshman Singh Memorial Day, Minister Poudel said that insurance is a suitable means of managing the health of citizens.
“We are in the campaign to implement health insurance at all local levels, now the problem is due to managerial weaknesses but it could be improved. The government has managed 31 billion rupees to provide health facilities to run health insurance in an integrated manner through a one-door system”, he said.
On another note Minister Poudel, also Nepali Congress leader, said that late leader Ganesh Man Singh was an ‘iron man’ who never fought for post and position.
