Kathmandu, Nov, 6: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), has said that no one can arrest Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa.
Speaking to journalists while leaving the party’s central office in Paris Danda on Friday, Prachanda said that the government appeared to be moving beyond the constitutional and democratic values and principles of the republic.
“Regarding Gaganji, no one can arrest him,” Prachanda said.
Commenting on the recent change in the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Prachanda said the matter had already reached the court and that the judiciary should make the decision.
