Agency, Oct 21: Phil Foden starred with a hat-trick as Manchester City cruised to a commanding 5–1 victory over AEK Athens in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
At the Etihad Stadium, Foden led City’s attack with three goals, while Elliot Anderson and Rayan Cherki also found the net to complete a comfortable win. Stavros Pilios scored AEK Athens’ only goal of the match.
The emphatic victory earned City three valuable points, taking their tally to six points from three matches and placing them sixth in the standings. AEK Athens, meanwhile, remained 27th with three points from the same number of games.
