Kathmandu, Oct 14: The Ujyalo Nepal Party has restarted its signature campaign demanding the removal of the five percent value-added tax (VAT) imposed on electricity bills.
The signature campaign that the party started on August 17 had been postponed due to the devastating flood that hit Rasuwa on August 26. Party secretary Kedar Khadka said that the party has decided to restart the campaign that saw the enthusiastic participation of the public.
The party has called on all its leaders, including those at the provincial, district, municipal, and ward-level and the party activists to immediately restart the campaign in their respective areas.
