Kathmandu, Sept 28: The meeting of both houses of the federal parliament is being held today. On behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, will present the bill, 2083, to establish the provisions of some Nepal Acts, in the meeting of the House of Representatives at scheduled at 11:00 am.
Similarly, the Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security Sita Badi will present the ‘Bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security, 2083 BS’.
In the meeting, Health and Food Healthy Minister Nisha Mehta will present the Control Sale and Distribution of Breast-Milk Substitutes (First Amendment), 2083. Similarly, in today’s meeting, Minister Mehta will present the ‘Safe Maternal and Reproductive Health Rights (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’, ‘Safety of Health Workers and Health Institutions (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083’ and ‘Ramraja Prasad Singh Institute of Health Sciences Bill, 2083’.
Likewise, the meeting of the National Assembly is taking place at 1:15 pm. In today’s meeting, Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to submit the annual report of the Natural Resources and Finance Commission for the fiscal year 2081-82 BS to the Assembly.
