Kathmandu, Sept 22: The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled at 1:00pm today.
In the meeting, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle will be presenting a proposal seeking consideration on ‘Citizen Investment Trust (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083’.
Four parliamentary committees are also convening later today. The parliament secretariat shared information that the committees to sit are- Finance Committee; Education, Health and Information Technology Committee; Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee; and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.
The Finance Committee is scheduled to dwell on principles relating to Bill made to amend and scrap some Nepal Act (Finance), while the Health and IT Committee discusses the draft report on ‘National Forensics Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081’.
The Good Governance Committee’s meeting that begins at 11:15am features the issues ranging from foreign and domestic investments, climate change impacts, management of investment conferences held at national and provincial levels, and legal and policy reform required for investment promotion.
The draft ‘Library Policy’ is the agenda in the meeting of Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.
