Agency. Brazilian winger Raphinha scored a hat-trick as Barcelona continued their winning run in La Liga with a 3–1 victory over Sevilla on Saturday night.
The match, played at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, saw Sevilla take an early lead through Youssouf Fofana before Raphinha turned the game around for Barcelona with three goals.
Fofana opened the scoring in the 19th minute, heading home from Félix Correia’s cross to give the hosts an early advantage.
Barcelona responded just three minutes later when Raphinha converted a pass from Andreas Christensen to level the score at 1–1.
Raphinha completed his brace in the 52nd minute, finishing from Lamine Yamal’s cross to put Barcelona 2–1 ahead. He then completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute after being set up by Yamal, sealing a comfortable 3–1 victory for the visitors.
The win keeps Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table with 21 points from seven matches. Sevilla, meanwhile, remain fifth with 13 points from the same number of games.
