Kathmandu, Sept 9: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has instructed the office-bearers of the Nepal Oil Corporation and gas entrepreneurs to make necessary arrangement to ease cooking gas supply.
Minister Yadav directed them to make arrangement where a consumer could not obtain a gas cylinder from the company they are using should be exchanged with gas cylinder of another company at the same price in Kathmandu Valley.
This arrangement is going to be made with an objective of providing relief to consumers by immediately addressing the shortage of cooking gas supply following flood, according to Minister Yadav’s Secretariat.
She clarified that action would be taken against those found causing unnecessary problems to consumers, creating artificial shortage and acting against government’s directives.
