Kathmandu, July 4: Minister for Health and Food Safety, Nisha Mehta, has said that the government is working with the objective of making health sciences and institutes stronger. The appointment process of officials in these institutions will be transparent.
In today’s meeting of the National Assembly, presenting a proposal seeking consideration on the Bill designed to amend some Nepal Acts related to Health Sciences Institutes, 2083 BS, she said that the appointment process of officials of the Health Sciences Institutes will be made transparent and competitive.
The proposal by Minister Mehta was unanimously approved by the meeting.
Earlier, MPs Renu Chand, Basudev Ghimire, Meena Singh, Dharmendra Paswan, Bishnu Bahadur Bishwakarma, and Somnath Portel had presented their views on the principles of the bill.
