Chitwan, June 25: The voting for the central member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has officially concluded. The party’s Election Commission reported that polling kicked off at midnight and wrapped up at 12:30 PM.
Minimadhav Khanal, the President of RSP Chitwan, shared that around 3,950 votes were cast during the voting under the general convention. The results are expected to be announced within two hours, thanks to the use of electronic voting machines, according to the commission.
Following the voting for 99 members in the first phase of the RSP’s general convention held in Bharatpur, Chitwan, the second phase of the election process will commence shortly.
Manish Jha, the party spokesperson, noted that the 99 elected central members will cast the votes to choose the office bearers.
The first national convention of the RSP began on June 21 in Chitwan is underway.
