Kathmandu, May 17: Lhakpa Sherpa has created a world record by successfully summiting Mt. Everest for the 11th time
According to Seven Summit Treks, she reached the summit of the world’s highest peak at around 9:30 am on Sunday.
With this remarkable achievement, Lhakpa has written a new chapter in mountaineering history and continues to inspire women and climbers across the globe.
Born in 1973 in Makalu–2 of Sankhuwasabha district, Lhakpa is widely regarded as one of Nepal’s most accomplished female climbers.
