Kaski, May 13: Punya Prasad Sitaula has been elected as the president of the Federation of Nepalese Transport Entrepreneurs.
Sitaula was elected by the general convention of the Federation that concluded in Pokhara today. Similarly, Sanukaji Prajapati, N Kumar Sai and Kedar Poudel have been elected as senior vice-presidents. Chandra Ojha, Dambarraj Pant, Atmaram Thapa, Kanchharam Thing, Kanchhaman Bal, Jit Bahadur Bharti and Ram Prasad Subedi were elected as vice-presidents.
A total of 78-member working committee has been elected from the general convention.
Two thousand representatives and observers from committees, companies, private limited companies and cooperatives operating public transport from across the country participated in the general convention.
