Manchester City keep title hopes alive with comfortable win over Brentford

Manchester City kept their Premier League title hopes alive with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Brentford on Saturday night at the Etihad Stadium.

After a goalless first half, Jérémy Doku broke the deadlock in the 60th minute to hand City the lead. Erling Haaland doubled the advantage in the 75th minute before providing an assist for Omar Marmoush, who sealed the victory deep into stoppage time.

With the win, City moved up to second place in the Premier League standings with 74 points from 35 matches, keeping their title ambitions alive. Brentford, meanwhile, remain eighth on the table with 51 points, having played one game more.
