Donald Trump announced today an extension of the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel for three weeks.
The US president said in a post on Truth Social that a meeting between negotiators from Lebanon and the Israeli occupation, held today at the White House, went well.
Donald Trump also said that a meeting would soon be held between Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reach a lasting peace between the two sides.
It is worth noting that the White House hosted earlier today the second round of direct negotiations between Lebanon and the Israeli occupation under US sponsorship, aimed at reaching a peace agreement between the two parties.
