Kathmandu, March 5: The United States has congratulated the people of Nepal on the successful completion of the elections.
In a statement, the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu extended its congratulations to Nepali voters and said Washington looks forward to working with the incoming government.
“We congratulate the people of Nepal on the successful completion of the elections. We look forward to working with the upcoming government on our shared goals related to the prosperity and security of both our nations,” the embassy said.
The statement also emphasized cooperation between the two countries on mutual priorities of prosperity and security.
