AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Feb. 8 – The “Prelude to the Spring Festival Gala: The World Watches the CMG Gala Together” New Zealand special event, organized by China Media Group (CMG), was held at the historic Auckland Town Hall in the center of Aucland.
Shen Haixiong, President and Editor-in-Chief of CMG, delivered a special video speech for the event, introducing the upcoming CMG Spring Festival Gala. Among the attendees who also addressed the event were Chen Shijie, Chinese Consul General in Auckland; Wayne Brown, Mayor of Auckland; David Carter, former Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives and Honorary President of the New Zealand China Friendship Association; René de Monchy, Chief Executive of Tourism New Zealand; and Brent Clothier, former President of the Royal Society of New Zealand and recipient of the Chinese Government Friendship Award. Approximately 200 guests attended the event.
