Patan (Lalitpur), Feb 6: Vice President of the Nepali Congress, Bishwoprakash Sharma, reminded the history that NC took a lead in uniting nation at every critical moment.
Addressing an election-focused gathering organized by party’s district working committee, Lalitpur on Friday, Vice President Sharma claimed that NC has the capacity to coordinate and cooperate with all sides for national welfare at a time when the country is holding the general election two years before the expected time in the wake of an adverse situation the country faced.
“It was BP Koirala to link society to inclusive politics, while Girija Prasad Koirala brought then rebellion Maoists to peaceful politics, ending conflict in the country,” Sharma reminded, adding that NC is a responsible political party, so it mends it ways for the national prosperity. For it, the politics of negation and hatred will end, according to him.
The NC Vice President further said it is imperative to maintain trust among people to address expectation of Gen Z movement. NC has the leadership to act properly at such situation, he asserted.
On the occasion, NC central member Omkar Prasad Shrestha also claimed the party addressed public voices as per time and need.
Joint General Secretary of NC and election candidate from constituency-1 of Lalitpur, Uday Shumsher Rana, said NC was changed as per the change in Nepalis’ thought in the wake of Gen Z movement.
