Kathmandu, Nov 13: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav attended a reception ceremony hosted here on Wednesday evening on the occasion of the national day of the Republic of Korea.
In his brief address to the ceremony, Korean Ambassador for Nepal Park Tae-young said the Government of Korea has been collaborating with Nepal for the sustainable development and prosperity of the Himalayan country.
The ambassador further stated that Nepal has abundant potentials for hydroelectricity, cultural heritage and human resources for its development, and Korea has expanded its assistance putting these sectors on priority.
Also on the occasion, programmes reflecting Korean culture were presented.
Also present at the reception were high-ranking government officials, heads of diplomatic missions based in Kathmandu, entrepreneurs and businesspeople, media personnel, and Korean citizens residing here for work purposes.
