Russia Destroys, Intercepts 7 Ukrainian Drones over Several Regions

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems successfully destroyed and intercepted Ukrainian drones in the airspace of several regions.

In a statement, the Ministry said that its air defense systems shot down seven Ukrainian drones, noting that five were downed over Bryansk, one over Kursk, and one over Crimea.

The exchange of drone attacks between the two sides has become routine in the context of the conflict that has been ongoing since Feb. 24, 2022, and which remains far from a political solution, given Moscow’s insistence on continuing its military operation in Ukraine until its objectives are achieved.
