Manhari (Makawanpur), June 8: Respected leader of CPN (Unified Socialist), Jhalnath Khanal has commented on the rise of right-wing opportunism in the Communist Party. Inaugurating the town committee convention of the party here today, leader Khanal said that the communist parties cannot survive without the ‘agenda’ of socialism.
Leader Khanal, also former Prime Minister said that socialist revolution is the need of the moment. He argued that the socialism is indispensable for the proportional development of the country.
“Now all political parties should focus on socialism”, he said. Arguing that socialism will address the problems and grievances of common citizens, he emphasized that all three levels of government in the federal governance system should introduce socialist programmes and provide services to the citizens easily.
