Surkhet, Sept 14: Chief Minister of Karnali Province Yamlal Kandel has stated that the acts of vandalism and arson that took place in the name of Gen-Z protests were condemnable.
At a news conference here Sunday, the Chief Minister said that the protests being misused going beyond the purpose was disgraceful and the failure to figure out the responsible figures for the vandalism and arson has created further confusion.
Kandel also claimed that the youths were provoked in the protests and the impacts of the protests were visible in the Karnali Province too.
“The Karnali Province Assembly suffered terribly in the incident. We have held discussions with the ministers and the province secretaries on the ways to move ahead against this backdrop,” he added.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Kandel inspected the government offices damaged by the protestors during the Gen-Z protests.
