Kathmandu, Sept 12: Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki is set to assume the post of Prime Minister following a political agreement reached on Friday.
The consensus was achieved after day-long discussions among representatives of the Gen-Z group, President, Sushila Karki, and legal experts. According to Gen-Z campaigner Raksha Bam, the agreement also includes the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
The Office of the President confirmed preparations to appoint Karki as Prime Minister and administer her oath of office at 9 PM tonight.
