Kathmandu, Sept 11: President Ramchandra Paudel has pledged to find a way out of the current crisis while adhering to the constitutional framework.
In a statement issued on Thursday, President Paudel said he was engaged in discussions and efforts to safeguard democracy and maintain peace and order in the country.
‘The focus of my efforts is on how to ensure a resolution within the constitutional boundaries and how to preserve democracy and stability in these difficult times,’ he stated.
Calling for restraint, President Paudel urged all sides to cooperate in maintaining peace and order, while assuring that steps are being taken to swiftly address the concerns of the protesting citizens.
