Kathmandu, Sept 9: The Indian Cabinet Committee has held an extensive discussion on the recent developments in Nepal. According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the meeting was convened upon his return from a day-long visit and focused on Nepal’s unfolding situation.
Modi expressed deep sorrow over the violence, saying he was “deeply disturbed” by the loss of many young lives. He stated that the violence in Nepal was “heart-wrenching” and stressed that Nepal’s stability, peace, and prosperity are of utmost importance. Modi also appealed to the people of Nepal to maintain peace and order.
