The decisive moment came at the Santiago Bernabéu, where Kylian Mbappé marked his league debut with the match-winning goal. After a goalless first half, Mbappé calmly converted a penalty in the 51st minute to secure the win for Madrid.
Osasuna’s night went from bad to worse when Abel Bretonés received a red card in stoppage time, leaving them to finish the game with 10 men.
With the victory, Real Madrid collected their first three points of the new campaign.
