Fudan University Alumni Nepal formed

Kathmandu, June 7: The Fudan University Alumni, Nepal has been formed under the chair of Dr Kalyan Raj Sharma.

The other members of the alumni include Dr Kailash Bhandari, Dr Saroj Dhital, Prof Dr Dilip Sharma, Dr Sujan Manandhar and several other prominent figures of the country.

On the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song appreciated the contributions made by the alumni of the Fudan University for fostering friendship between China and Nepal.

“Studying in China is not only an opportunity to learn expertise, but also a good opportunity to understand values different from others. Nepal and China are Asian countries and developing countries, and Nepal can learn more development experiences applicable to Nepal from China’s reform and development, the Chinese Ambassador said.

Stating that Nepal is an important partner in the Belt and Road Initiative and building a community with a shared future for mankind, the Chinese Ambassador asked the alumni and others to visit China to learn about the rapid changes in China in the recent years.

Likewise, Chairman of the Fudan University Alumni, Nepal, Dr Sharma said that the alumni would serve as a platform for learning among Nepalis adding that China’s rapid development in the fields of economy, science and technology and other fields are worth learning for our wellbeing.

The alumni of the Fudan University include the students who studied in the university from the 1990s to the recent past.

Founded in Shanghai of China in 1905, the Fudan University is one of the renowned universities in the world.
